The house in the Old Village of Gordon’s Bay is furnished to European standards and overlooks in its perfect hillside the expanse of False Bay. The old harbour or the beach with the promenade can be reached on foot in a few minutes about the garden gate below. A bit of drinking and eating is possible in the many localities without a car. In the greater village are all grocery chains and also many small shops represented. International fashion can be bought in the nearby Somerset Mall. Above the house to the mountain side is the large gate with locked parking. Here is the additional access to the house from the Faure Marine Drive.
Gordon’s Bay is a cozy fishing village of Cape Town, the most relaxing starting point to explore the region of the Cape. Here, the beautiful scenic road along the whale coast to Betty’s Bay with its penguins begins and one arrives in 60 minutes to Hermanus. The hustle and bustle of Cape Town can be reached in about 40 minutes on the N2. The first wineries of Somerset West can be reached in 15 minutes and Stellenbosch in 30 minutes. The drive to the Cape of Good Hope takes you along the long beaches of Muizenberg through beautiful dunes. Ideally, the connection from the airport to Gordon’s Bay is 30 minutes – easy to find even after a long flight, or to calculate well on the fast motorway connection for the departure. The house is secured with alarm and connected to a security service.
